JEFFREY BARTLETT

About Us

Jeffrey Bartlett started in the clothing business in 1986 with "The Custom Shop Shirtmakers" on Michigan Avenue in Chicago.  During the summer of 1988 an opportunity was presented to move to Cincinnati and mentor with Ed Heimann at Hamilton Tailors.  Mr. Heimann was Arnold Palmer's personal clothier and the maker of the master's "Green Jacket."  This was a natural fit as Jeffrey was a collegiate golfer and an accomplished amateur player.

In the Spring of 1992, Jeffrey opened his own business.  This was an important step because it allowed Jeffrey more freedom to source fabrics from any mill in the world and to study from the best tailors.  Notables include Martin Greenfield in New York, who makes clothing for the better retailers in New York City.  Adrian Roberti in Rochester, who was the head tailor for Hickey Freeman in 1964.  Lou Myles in Toronto, who was Frank Sinatra's personal tailor.

Jeffrey Bartlett has served on the National Board of Directors for the Custom Tailors and Designers Association.  The association is an educational resource for the custom tailors and designer's industry.  Jeffrey's 20+ years of success has come from the ability to listen to his clients and to build on those relationships.  We look forward to the opportunity to serve your wardrobe needs.
